# Umi vs SniffTalk

The clearest difference is update cadence: Umi at weekly against SniffTalk's monthly. Umi also leads on iOS requirement (15 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Umi sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days and SniffTalk sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Umi ships an update weekly, SniffTalk monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
