# SmartMiles vs Miles

The clearest difference is rating: Miles at 5.0 against SmartMiles's 4.4. SmartMiles's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmartMiles sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Miles sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Miles holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartMiles has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SmartMiles ships an update every 3 days, Miles every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
