# PicToCards vs Flashwise

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flashwise at every 2 weeks against PicToCards's every 5 weeks. Flashwise also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicToCards sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Flashwise sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PicToCards ships an update every 5 weeks, Flashwise every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
