# enScore vs OpenScore

The clearest difference is update cadence: enScore at every 2 days against OpenScore's every 5 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. enScore sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and OpenScore sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

enScore ships an update every 2 days, OpenScore every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
