# Screen Pet vs Widgepets

The clearest difference is ads: Screen Pet at none against Widgepets's shown. Widgepets's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screen Pet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Widgepets sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screen Pet ships an update monthly, Widgepets weekly. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
