# Flash Heroes vs Tidebound Vanguard

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Flash Heroes at 50% against Tidebound Vanguard's 0%. Tidebound Vanguard's advantage is rating (3.0 vs 2.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flash Heroes sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Tidebound Vanguard sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tidebound Vanguard holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Flash Heroes's written reviews are positive against 0% of Tidebound Vanguard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flash Heroes ships an update monthly, Tidebound Vanguard fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
