# LeafRead vs AnyRead

The clearest difference is monetization model: AnyRead at free against LeafRead's freemium. AnyRead also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 83%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). LeafRead's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LeafRead sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AnyRead sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LeafRead ships an update every 3 days, AnyRead every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
