# Gewu vs Nenrin

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nenrin at every 3 days against Gewu's weekly. Nenrin also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gewu sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and Nenrin sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gewu ships an update weekly, Nenrin every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
