# SwissBoard vs SendCat

The clearest difference is update cadence: SwissBoard at every 2 days against SendCat's every 5 days. SendCat's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SwissBoard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and SendCat sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SwissBoard ships an update every 2 days, SendCat every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
