# Rainbow vs Iterum

The clearest difference is update cadence: Iterum at every 5 days against Rainbow's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rainbow sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Iterum sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $34.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rainbow ships an update every 2 weeks, Iterum every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
