# FLIP vs Orbit

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FLIP at none against Orbit's 3. Orbit's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orbit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. FLIP asks for nothing beyond the download.

FLIP ships an update every 3 months, Orbit weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
