# Mappr vs GenZPS

Mappr and GenZPS both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of GenZPS's written reviews are positive against 38% of Mappr's. GenZPS also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 16). Mappr's advantage is ratings volume (254 vs 10) and chart position (#96 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mappr sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. GenZPS asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mappr holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mappr has 254 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Mappr's written reviews are positive against 100% of GenZPS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mappr ships an update every 9 days, GenZPS fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
