# Descreened vs Normal

The clearest difference is update cadence: Normal at every 2 days against Descreened's every 11 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Descreened sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Normal sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Descreened ships an update every 11 days, Normal every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
