Selpaca is a selfie camera with filters that run on the live preview, not on the photo afterwards. The filter you pick is applied to the image on screen as you frame the shot, and the same one is applied to the photo that gets saved. There is no surprise between the two — what you were looking at is what ends up in your library, mirrored the way you saw it, at your camera's full resolution. FILTERS Six looks, plus the unfiltered original: • None — your camera, untouched • Glow — soft light, lifted highlights • Peach — warm and gentle • Milky — pale, low contrast, airy • Mono — black and white • Vintage — faded, aged colour • Pop — bright and saturated Switch between them from the strip below the viewfinder. Each one is previewed on your own face, live, so you choose by looking rather than by guessing from a name. SELF-TIMER Three or ten seconds, so you can prop the phone up and use both hands, or step back and get more than your arm's length into the frame. The countdown appears over the picture and taps out the seconds so you know where you are without staring at the screen. BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY • Full-resolution photos, saved straight to your photo library • Share to anywhere your phone already shares • Works with no connection • No account, and nothing to sign up for PRIVACY Selpaca has no server. Your photos are saved to your own photo library and go nowhere else unless you share them yourself. The app asks for two permissions: your camera, and permission to add photos to your library. It deliberately does not ask to read your library — it cannot see the photos you already have, including the ones it saved before. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no face detection of any kind; the filters are colour adjustments applied to the whole picture and the app has no idea whether there is a face in it.
