# Acne Tracker vs Trigger

The clearest difference is update cadence: Trigger at weekly against Acne Tracker's every 2 months. Trigger also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Acne Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Trigger sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Acne Tracker ships an update every 2 months, Trigger weekly. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
