# Zipline vs Zip

The clearest difference is update cadence: Zipline at every 2 days against Zip's every 2 months. Zip's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zipline sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Zip sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Zipline ships an update every 2 days, Zip every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
