# Step Tracker vs Stepado

The clearest difference is ads: Step Tracker at none against Stepado's shown. Stepado's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Step Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Stepado sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Step Tracker ships an update fortnightly, Stepado every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
