# Bill Splitter vs SplitEx

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bill Splitter at every 2 days against SplitEx's every 2 weeks. SplitEx's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bill Splitter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and SplitEx sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bill Splitter ships an update every 2 days, SplitEx every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
