# THE Tether vs LightCompass

The clearest difference is device support: THE Tether at 3 against LightCompass's 1. On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. THE Tether sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and LightCompass sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
