# HelloShorts vs VerticalClap

The clearest difference is update cadence: VerticalClap at weekly against HelloShorts's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HelloShorts sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and VerticalClap sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HelloShorts ships an update every 3 weeks, VerticalClap weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
