# Griddle vs Association Pairing

The clearest difference is rating: Griddle at 4.9 against Association Pairing's 4.3. Griddle also leads on ratings volume (1.7K vs 3) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Association Pairing's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Griddle sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Association Pairing sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Griddle holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Griddle has 1.7K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Griddle ships an update every 6 days, Association Pairing weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
