# PTCG Simulator vs Trading Up TCG

The clearest difference is monetization model: Trading Up TCG at free against PTCG Simulator's freemium. Trading Up TCG also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1). PTCG Simulator's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PTCG Simulator sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Trading Up TCG sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for PTCG Simulator against 5.0 for Trading Up TCG. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trading Up TCG has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
