# Color Snap App vs 9PM

The clearest difference is monetization model: Color Snap App at free against 9PM's free with in-app purchases. Color Snap App also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 1). 9PM's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Color Snap App sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 9PM sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Color Snap App against 5.0 for 9PM. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Color Snap App has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Color Snap App ships an update fortnightly, 9PM every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
