Glimmer is a quiet, private map of every place you've ever taken a photo. No feeds, no sharing, no algorithm. Just your own life, glowing back at you. The Time Machine Press play. The camera flies across your map, dot by dot, replaying years of your life in under a minute. Each place lights up when you first arrived, the trail you walked draws itself between them, and a small card surfaces the photo and date of every memory it visits. The memories you wrote For each day of a trip, you can write one short line — what stood out, what you'd want to remember years later. During playback that line appears beside the photo. Tap it and the card opens, the music quiets, the camera holds still. You stop in time, read it, and continue. Every photo, already mapped Glimmer reads your photo library locally and clusters every geotagged photo into the places you actually visited. The cities and countries on your map fill in as you've lived them, not as you've curated. Nothing about your photos is ever uploaded. Private by design Photos stay on your device. Place names resolve through Apple's own geocoding service. There is no Glimmer account, no server, no shared feed. The map is yours, and only yours. For travelers, parents, people who move often, and anyone who has ever opened the Photos app to find one moment and gotten lost in eight years of timeline. Glimmer is the lens that turns that timeline into a place.

About

Seen

Your photo library holds more than pictures. Seen helps you return to the days and places behind them. Seen is a local-first photo memories app. Choose the photos you want to add, and Seen organizes them into experiences using their available dates and places. FIND YOUR PAST Browse Past by day, month or year. Search for a date, city or place to find matching photos. Open a photo at full size and continue through the photos in the same theme. PUT PHOTOS BACK ON THE MAP Explore photos with available location information, from cities to individual places. Photos without reliable location information are not assigned a guessed location. MORE THAN A YEAR IN REVIEW Explore monthly and yearly recaps, records from the same place, different memories of a city, past years on this day and destination records across two years. Recaps cover photos added to Seen with the relevant information. Experience counts describe recorded groups, not verified visits. KEEP YOUR OWN SEEN COLLECTION Save a recap or discovery you want to keep. Its photos, dates, places and related experiences stay together. Adjust the title, words, selected photos and cover within the work. Before sharing, preview one image containing the original cover, title, places, dates and counts, then choose where it goes. OPTIONAL AI Core organization and recaps work without AI. Optional AI connects only to DeepSeek and requires your own DeepSeek API key. Photo understanding requires separate confirmation of the selected photos and costs and sends reduced still images with metadata removed. Relationship analysis sends the index of imported experiences and the dates, place names, notes, tags and existing structured clues within the retrieved material scope. After you enable AI mode and grant the relevant authorization, material changes or an explicit generation may trigger further text analysis. Independent text polishing sends only the original text you separately select. AI may make mistakes or find no new connection. It does not directly rewrite experiences or saved works. DeepSeek charges usage fees under your account rules. LOCAL SAVING, YOUR CONTROL No Seen account is required. Core records, saved works and analysis caches stay on your device. Local asset backup and restore are available; original photos remain managed by Apple Photos. Seen does not currently offer account-based cloud sync. Maps and optional AI require a network connection. Organization, recaps and sharing do not delete original photos. Seen requests deletion of specific Apple Photos originals only after you separately choose that action and complete the system confirmation. Store images use licensed photos and prepared sample records, not real user data or a promise of AI results.
