# Polypep vs Ciclo

The clearest difference is ads: Ciclo at none against Polypep's shown. Ciclo also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 3 days) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Polypep sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Ciclo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Polypep ships an update every 3 days, Ciclo daily. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
