# MacroMate vs DD

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MacroMate at none against DD's 3. MacroMate also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). DD's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DD sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. MacroMate asks for nothing beyond the download.

MacroMate ships an update fortnightly, DD every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
