# peel vs Whoscribe

The clearest difference is update cadence: Whoscribe at every 4 days against peel's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. peel sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Whoscribe sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

peel ships an update monthly, Whoscribe every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
