# Pickd vs sprout.spot

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pickd at every 3 days against sprout.spot's fortnightly. Pickd also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). sprout.spot's advantage is ratings volume (151 vs 13) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.4). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pickd sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and sprout.spot sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pickd holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: sprout.spot has 151 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Pickd's written reviews are positive against 93% of sprout.spot's.

Pickd ships an update every 3 days, sprout.spot fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
