# Perim vs EmberLog

The clearest difference is update cadence: EmberLog at every 6 days against Perim's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Perim sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and EmberLog sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Perim ships an update every 5 weeks, EmberLog every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
