# Momento vs Schematic

The clearest difference is update cadence: Momento at daily against Schematic's every 5 days. Momento also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). Schematic's advantage is ratings volume (26 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Momento sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Schematic sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $69.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Momento holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Schematic has 26 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Momento ships an update daily, Schematic every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
