# YiKe vs Ember

The clearest difference is ads: YiKe at none against Ember's shown. YiKe also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YiKe sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Ember sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

YiKe ships an update every 4 days, Ember every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
