# NEN vs MangaLens

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: MangaLens at 15.0 against NEN's 17.5. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NEN sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MangaLens sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NEN ships an update every 5 days, MangaLens every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
