# OmniGate vs Hopday

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hopday at weekly against OmniGate's every 3 weeks. OmniGate's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OmniGate sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Hopday sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OmniGate ships an update every 3 weeks, Hopday weekly. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
