# HiDay vs Countdown Widget

The clearest difference is update cadence: Countdown Widget at weekly against HiDay's every 3 weeks. HiDay's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HiDay sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year and Countdown Widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HiDay ships an update every 3 weeks, Countdown Widget weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
