# GetLiveBPM vs Mr. Drum

The clearest difference is ads: GetLiveBPM at none against Mr. Drum's shown. Mr. Drum's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GetLiveBPM sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mr. Drum sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GetLiveBPM ships an update weekly, Mr. Drum every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
