# Ink vs Combwise

The clearest difference is ads: Combwise at none against Ink's shown. Combwise also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ink sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Combwise sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ink ships an update every 5 days, Combwise every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
