# Ink vs Patchiverse

The clearest difference is rating: Patchiverse at 5.0 against Ink's 4.3. Patchiverse also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Ink's advantage is ratings volume (213 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ink sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Patchiverse sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Patchiverse holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ink has 213 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ink ships an update every 5 days, Patchiverse weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
