# Vesper vs Screen time control

The clearest difference is update cadence: Screen time control at every 3 days against Vesper's every 2 weeks. Vesper's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vesper sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days and Screen time control sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vesper ships an update every 2 weeks, Screen time control every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 10, 2026.
