# Platzwahl vs Pickadoo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pickadoo at every 2 days against Platzwahl's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Platzwahl sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Pickadoo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Platzwahl ships an update every 2 months, Pickadoo every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
