# SubSeek vs Cancely

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Cancely at 100% against SubSeek's 10%. Cancely also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and ads (none vs shown). SubSeek's advantage is ratings volume (744 vs 12) and chart position (#24 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SubSeek sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Cancely sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cancely holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SubSeek has 744 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 10% of SubSeek's written reviews are positive against 100% of Cancely's.

SubSeek ships an update fortnightly, Cancely every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
