# Basic Checklist vs Daily Schedule Planner

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Basic Checklist at none against Daily Schedule Planner's 15. Basic Checklist also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (83% vs 61%). Daily Schedule Planner's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 26 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daily Schedule Planner sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Basic Checklist asks for nothing beyond the download.

Daily Schedule Planner holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daily Schedule Planner has 767 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Basic Checklist's written reviews are positive against 61% of Daily Schedule Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Basic Checklist ships an update every 26 months, Daily Schedule Planner fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
