# Kept By vs Memento

The clearest difference is update cadence: Memento at every 4 days against Kept By's every 2 months. Memento also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kept By sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Memento sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kept By ships an update every 2 months, Memento every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
