# FDV vs PinNote

The clearest difference is rating: FDV at 5.0 against PinNote's 4.5. FDV also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). PinNote's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 5 days) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PinNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. FDV asks for nothing beyond the download.

FDV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5.
