# Control vs Notez

The clearest difference is update cadence: Control at every 6 days against Notez's every 2 months. Notez's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Control sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Notez sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Control ships an update every 6 days, Notez every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
