# Serious Notebook vs Vilipi

The clearest difference is ads: Serious Notebook at none against Vilipi's shown. Vilipi's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and device support (4 vs 2). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Serious Notebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Vilipi sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Serious Notebook ships an update every 3 weeks, Vilipi every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
