Caltopia is a private, offline calorie tracker, macro counter, and food diary — with an on-device AI coach, voice logging, intermittent fasting, and GLP-1 tracking built in. Try everything free for 7 days, then $1.99/month — or pay once ($20) and own it for life. No ads, no accounts, no third-party cloud. Your data stays on your phone. 48,000 FOODS, OFFLINE A USDA + branded-foods database downloads on first launch (~4 MB). After that, search, logging, and charts all work with no internet — on a flight, in the gym, anywhere. LOG A MEAL FIVE WAYS • Barcode scan for packaged food • Voice: "two eggs and a slice of toast" — parsed on-device • Photo of your meal — on-device AI suggests it • Nutrition-label OCR • One tap on a recent food Food data: USDA (public domain, bundled offline) + Open Food Facts. ON-DEVICE AI COACH Ask about your own log — "how much protein did I average?" — and get answers from your data (observations, never medical advice). Say what's in your fridge and get a recipe you can log or save. Uses Apple Intelligence where available, a built-in offline cookbook everywhere else. VOICE LOGGING Tap the mic or the Home Screen widget and just talk. It understands quantities and units — even "a beef stick, 100 calories." Your voice never leaves the phone. INTERMITTENT FASTING A live fasting timer in your calorie ring and on the Lock Screen (Dynamic Island). 16:8, 18:6, 20:4, OMAD, or any custom target, with trends and weekly summaries. TRACK WHAT MATTERS TO YOU Workouts, blood glucose, and GLP-1 (doses, injection-site rotation, side effects) — all user-entered, no medical advice. Build your own recipes and plan meals ahead. ADAPTIVE TARGETS Start with Mifflin–St Jeor BMR + activity multipliers. Turn on Adaptive TDEE and Caltopia learns your real calorie burn from your logs and weight trend, adjusting targets automatically. Pick a goal: lose, maintain, gain, or recomp. INSIGHTS & WIDGETS A 13-week logging heatmap, calorie/macro/water/weight trend charts, and weekly summaries. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets for calories, macros, water, fasting, and your streak. STAY MOTIVATED 60 achievements, weekly quests, daily challenges, streaks, XP, and levels — fun on top of the data, not in place of it. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account. No login. No analytics or ad trackers. Data is stored locally with Apple's SwiftData. Optional backup goes only to your own private iCloud, never our servers. Two-way Apple Health sync. Full Excel export and re-import anytime. PRICING & FREE TRIAL Start with a 7-day free trial — every feature unlocked. Then Caltopia Pro is $1.99/month, or unlock for life with a single $20 purchase. The monthly plan auto-renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel anytime in your App Store settings. Lifetime is a one-time purchase, no recurring charges.
