# CathoLock vs Prayer Explorer

The clearest difference is monetization model: Prayer Explorer at free against CathoLock's free with in-app purchases. Prayer Explorer also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). CathoLock's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CathoLock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Prayer Explorer sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for CathoLock against 5.0 for Prayer Explorer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CathoLock has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
