# PathLife vs Lifeline

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Lifeline at 50% against PathLife's 0%. Lifeline also leads on rating (4.2 vs 3.5) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PathLife sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Lifeline sells 16 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lifeline holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lifeline has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 0% of PathLife's written reviews are positive against 50% of Lifeline's.

PathLife ships an update every 2 months, Lifeline every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
