# Floating Cam vs Screen Recorder

The clearest difference is rating: Screen Recorder at 4.4 against Floating Cam's 1.0. Screen Recorder also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Floating Cam sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Screen Recorder sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screen Recorder holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screen Recorder has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
