# Mixable vs ThiColor

The clearest difference is update cadence: ThiColor at every 5 days against Mixable's every 3 weeks. Mixable's advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mixable sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and ThiColor sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Mixable against 5.0 for ThiColor. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mixable has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Mixable ships an update every 3 weeks, ThiColor every 5 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
